Overview
VISA Power has signed an MoU with the Government of Jharkhand on 5th February 2008 for setting up a 2,640 MW integrated power plant.
Highlights
- The estimated project cost would be approx INR 13,750 crores
- Project to be developed in Seraikela (Kharsawan) district
- Company shall secure suitable coal block for mining and supply of coal to ensure sustained availability of good quality coal to generate electricity at a low cost from this project
